Our Californian Roots

We began as De La Cruz in 1963 in Los Angeles, California with just a few items, and today we sell more than 120 health and beauty products nationwide and internationally in leading chains, independent stores and online. We offer beauty products, non-prescription drugs and nutritional supplements in categories such as Skincare, Essential Oils, Eye Care, Cold and Cough products, Digestive Aids, and B-Vitamins.

We are still located in Southern California, and we have built on our six decades (and counting) of heritage and continue to produce our key original brands like De La Cruz®, Bactimicina®, Ocusan®, Globulo Rojo® and Super Macho®.

Our integrity and commitment to quality

Integrity, quality and safety are the key pillars of our philosophy. We manufacture in an FDA-regulated facility with ingredients carefully selected from around the globe, and we are licensed by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).

We formulate most of our products in-house, and we carefully vet our suppliers and subject each ingredient of every batch to a battery of rigorous quality testing.

We test our products on the production line at multiple stages and conduct multi-point laboratory analyses prior to releasing batches of our finished products for sale. It can often take a week to complete the testing on a fresh batch of products. Our new product development procedures and our testing protocols exceed government requirements. In the rare event a batch does not meet our standards we destroy it and make it all over again. Our commitment to excellence is our guide in all we do.

At DLC Laboratories, we believe in effective ingredients for healthy skin, hair and nails. That’s why we formulate our beauty care products with nutrient-rich derivatives from natural sources like almonds, rosemary plants, papaya, arnica montana flowers, avocados, aloe vera, … and much more!

Our Health and Wellness Philosophy

We believe in a healthy body for a healthy life, for all. This is why we offer a growing variety of over-the-counter medicinal products providing temporary relief for a range of conditions like dry, irritated eyes, colds and coughs, pain and fever, and digestive conditions. In addition, we offer proven lice treatments, sulfur-based acne products now popular internationally as well as time-tested antiseptics to help prevent infections in cuts and scrapes.
