First aid antiseptic
Uses

First aid antiseptic to help prevent infection in minor:

  • scrapes
  • burns
  • cuts
Warnings
For external use only
Flammable
  • Keep away from sparks, heat and fire.
Consult a doctor before use if you have
  • deep or puncture wounds
  • animal bites
  • serious burns
When using this product
  • do not use in or near the eyes
  • do not apply over large areas of the body
  • do not apply over raw surfaces or blistered areas
  • do not use longer than 1 week unless directed by a doctor

Stop use and consult a doctor if the condition persists or gets worse.

Keep out of reach of children.

If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
Directions
  • clean the affected area
  • apply a small amount of this product to the area 1 to 3 times daily
  • may be covered with a sterile bandage.
  • If bandaged, let dry first.

What is the expiration date?

This product has an expiration date 3 years after the date of manufacture.
Can I use an expired bottle?

No. All drug products should be used before the expiration date. DLC Laboratories, Inc. has not studied the safety and effectiveness of any of our products beyond the expiration date. Therefore, please discard any expired products and obtain a new bottle.
Why doesn't your formula contain Mercury like Merthiolate used to have?

The FDA banned Mercury in almost all topical medicines and cosmetics in 1974 because of safety concerns. We launched in the 1990's, and our formula never contained Mercury.
Is this product tested on animals?

No, DLC Laboratories does not conduct animal testing on any of its products.
