How To Use

Skin

• use it alone or in DIY lotions

• Use it after a shower to seal the moisture into the skin.

• Use a few drops on their own or blend with another carrier oil and apply to body or face once or twice daily.

• Helps cleanse clogged pores with no oily residue.

Hair & Scalp

• Mix a couple drops of Jojoba oil with your favorite hair products.

Nails

• Simply apply a few drops onto your nails and cuticles, or soak for 10 minutes for an extra treatment. Jojoba Oil works magic on its own, so there is no need to combine it with another carrier oil!

Make-up Remover

• Using a cotton ball or pad, massage a small amount of Jojoba oil directly onto the skin and leave on for two minutes. Gently wipe off makeup with a clean pad.

We recommend you store the product at room temperature, with the cap tightly closed. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. These measures will help extend the quality of the oil.

Our carrier oils for topical use don't have an expiration date. Some like Jojoba oil have a 'best by' date. Our Jojoba oil carries a best date 3 years after bottling. See our storage recommendations to maximize quality of the oil.

Carrier oils may become rancid gradually as time goes on. The time frame for rancidity can vary depending on the type of oil and storage conditions, especially temperature and light. Because of its chemical structure, Jojoba oil is more stable than many carrier oils. If the oil develops an unpleasant odor, discard and do not use.

The oil is cold-pressed, meaning expeller-pressed at minimized pressure and without using heat. The freshly harvested Jojoba seeds are mechanically light-pressed, causing the crude oil to run out. Cold pressing is one of the best methods because it maximizes the purity of the oil. Mechanical extraction is a greener and healthier way of making oil because it doesn't use any chemical additives (solvents), meaning no chemical residues. Once the crude oil is extracted, it is filtered and then finally packed.

We do not recommend you heat carrier oils unless it's necessary for specific applications. The oxidation or rancidity of the carrier oil will speed up due to high temperature.

Although some of our carrier oils are food grade and fit for human consumption, they are intended for cosmetic use on skin, hair or nails. They therefore do not have nutrition facts on the labels and may not have an expiration date. We recommend you do not ingest the oils or cook with them.

When carrier oils remain open without the cap, oxidation will occur more quickly.
