De La Cruz 100% Pure and Natural Virgin Argan Oil is cold-pressed from the kernels from Argan fruits sourced directly from sunny Morocco.
This traditional “liquid gold” is a nourishing emollient high in oleic, linoleic and palmitic essential fatty acids that will help to build the skin’s natural oil barrier, meaning hydrated, supple and soft skin.
Argan oil absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn’t clog pores and thus works well for sensitive skin too. We love to use Argan oil as a hair treatment as well.

Argania spinosa (Argan) kernel oil from Morocco.
We recommend you store the product at room temperature, with the cap tightly closed. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. These measures will help extend the quality of the oil.
What is the expiration date? Although we don't put an expiration date on most of our carrier oils, they typically remain usable for topical use for at least 2-3 years after bottling, unless stated otherwise. See our storage recommendations to maximize quality of the oil.
Carrier oils may become rancid gradually as time goes on. The time frame for rancidity can vary depending on the type of oil and storage conditions, especially temperature and light. If the oil develops an unpleasant odor, discard and do not use.
The oil is cold-pressed, meaning expeller-pressed at minimized pressure and without using heat. The Argan kernels are mechanically light-pressed, causing the crude oil to run out. Cold pressing is one of the best methods because it maximizes the purity of the oil. Mechanical extraction is a greener and more traditional way of making oil because it doesn't use any chemical additives (solvents), meaning no chemical residue. Once the crude oil is extracted, it is filtered and then finally packed.
No. Our Argan oil is virgin grade and unrefined.
We do not recommend you heat carrier oils unless it's necessary for specific applications. The oxidation or rancidity of the carrier oil will speed up due to high temperature.
Although some of our carrier oils are food grade and fit for human consumption, they are intended for cosmetic use on skin, hair or nails. They therefore do not have nutrition facts on the labels and may not have an expiration date. We recommend you do not ingest the oils or cook with them.
When carrier oils remain open without the cap, oxidation will occur more quickly.
Keep out of reach of children. For external use only. Do not use if plastic seal around cap is missing or broken.
