How To Use

Ears

Ages 6 and Up: Use twice daily to soften earwax.
Tilt head to the side and
place 3–4 drops of room-temperature oil into
the ear. Do not use hot oil.
Keep head tilted for several minutes or place a small piece of cotton in the ear to prevent leakage.
After use, gently flush the ear with warm water.

Do not use if you have a punctured eardrum, ear pain, rash or discharge, or recently had ear surgery.If you have a medical condition or believe you might have one, consult a doctor before using this product. Consult a doctor after 4 days if earwax remains hardened. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children in a cool, dark place. Children under 6 years: consult a doctor. Do not use if plastic seal around cap is missing or broken.

We recommend you store the product at room temperature, with the cap tightly closed. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. These measures will help extend the quality of the oil.

Although we don't put an expiration date on most of our oils, they typically remain usable for topical use for at least 2-3 years after bottling, unless stated otherwise. See our storage recommendations to maximize quality of the oil.

Carrier oils may become rancid gradually as time goes on. The time frame for rancidity can vary depending on the type of oil and storage conditions, especially temperature and light.

This oil is a combination of three ingredients. The oil is expeller-pressed, meaning a mechanical press physically compresses the fresh Olives, causing the crude oil to run. This method of extraction is a greener and more traditional way of making oil because it doesn't use any chemical additives (solvents), meaning no chemical residue. We also include Rose Petal Extract and natural Vitamin E (tocopherol).

Yes. Although our oils are intended for cosmetic uses on skin, hair or nails, some of our oils are fit for human consumption and thus require a refining process to remove impurities such as free-fatty acids, gums, waxes and metal ions. These impurities affect the quality of the oil.

Tocopherol is a natural form of vitamin E. We add a small amount of to the oil because it helps slow down oxidation and rancidity of the oil.

In general, we do not recommend you heat carrier oils or blends unless it's necessary for specific applications. For this product we recommend only slight warming of the bottle in a pan of warm water. Although this product contains Vitamin E as an anti-oxidant, the rate of oxidation or rancidity can increase if the oil is exposed to high temperatures. Also, hot oil can be harmful inside the ear.
