This one is for chocolate lovers! De La Cruz 100% Pure and Natural Cocoa Butter is extracted from cocoa beans from Peru.
It is a rich moisturizer that creates a barrier to protect your skin from moisture loss and helps the skin to maintain its elasticity and tone. It penetrates quickly without leaving skin greasy.
Cocoa is a key ingredient in chocolate, and this is why it has that enchanting chocolate scent. We prefer using cocoa butter for hydrating the body (rather than on the face), as it tends to clog pores. Cocoa Butter is highly stable and can remain fresh for a long time.

Because our Cocoa butter is a natural product, it can become hard and can change in appearance. This is normal. To restore to a pliable consistency, microwave for a few seconds in a microwave-safe container or place jar in a pan of hot water for 10-15 minutes. Do not microwave in the original container.
Apply daily as needed to body, hands, feet, knees, elbows for hydrated and supple skin.
Helps you restore those dry and chapped lips. Just massage your lips with a small amount of butter.

We recommend you store the product in a cool place, with the cap tightly closed. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. These measures will help extend the quality of the product.
Although we don't put an expiration date on most of our butters, they typically remain fresh for 2-3 years after packaged, unless stated otherwise. See our storage recommendations to maximize quality of the product.
Although it is exceptionally stable, shea butter may become rancid gradually as time goes on. The time frame for rancidity can vary depending the storage conditions, especially temperature and light.
The butter is expeller-pressed, meaning a mechanical press physically compresses the Cocoa beans. This method of extraction is a greener and more traditional way of making oil because it doesn't use any chemical additives (solvents), meaning no chemical residue.
Yes. Because of Cocoa Butter's natural chemical structure, it can become hard and change in appearance. This is normal. To restore to a pliable consistency, place jar in a pan of hot water for until softened. Do not microwave in original container.
No, our butters are intended for cosmetic use on skin, hair or nails. Do not ingest the butters or cook with them.
When the butter remains open without the cap, oxidation will occur more quickly.
No. Our product is minimally processed and the characteristic odor of chocolate comes from the pure ingredient!
A butter usually means one kind of natural solid ingredient which is a mixture of many different fatty acids. A salve or ointment contains different ingredients, which are blended together and melted into a homogeneous oil phase, and then cooled down to solidify into a uniform semi-solid product. Salves and ointments are essentially the same.
Do not microwave in this container. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.
